Keep your racquet, fine-tune it
If your racquet is close but not quite right, small changes to weight, balance and strings often fix it for a few dollars. Pick your racquet and what you want to change.
1. Your racquet
2. What do you want to change?
Also worth checking
Grip size
Measure from the middle crease of your palm to the tip of your ring finger. A grip that's too small or too big costs control and strains the forearm. Each overgrip adds roughly 1/16 in.
Leather grip
A leather replacement grip is firmer, gives crisper feel and bevels, and adds a few grams in the handle (more head-light).
Dampener
A dampener changes the sound and string feel. It does very little for shock reaching your arm, so it's not a fix for elbow pain.
Change one thing at a time
Add 1 to 2 g at a time, play a few sessions, then decide. Lead tape is easy to move or remove.
Not sure your racquet is worth keeping? . If you tell it your current racquet, it'll say honestly whether to keep it, customize it or replace it.
